JD: We are looking for an experienced Senior Functional Lead with 8+ years of implementation experience working with Oracle Cloud. The role involves leading cross functional discussions at various levels with client business users to analyze requirements, brainstorm, and articulate solutions and recommend industry best practices to stakeholders. This role is responsible for documenting a gap analysis against standard Oracle functional flows and providing a solution using both standard and customized solutions. The role will design, document, configure, test, demonstrate and train the end users in the final solution throughout the implementation life cycle including hyper-care support at go-live. The ideal candidate will act as the primary functional lead for the modules, owning solution delivery and 1. Fixed Asset Key Responsibilities: • Manage the complete fixed asset lifecycle including acquisition, capitalization, depreciation, impairment, transfers, and disposals in accordance with accounting standards and company policies. • Maintain and reconcile fixed asset registers and ensure accuracy of asset records in the ERP/asset management systems. • Review and process all accounts payable transactions including invoice verification, approval routing, and payment processing timely and accurately. • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements related to fixed assets and accounts payable. • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly. • Prepare and assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to fixed assets and accounts payable. • Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits related to fixed assets and accounts payable. • Liaise with cross-functional teams including procurement, treasury, and finance to ensure smooth operations and compliance. • Implement process improvements and automation initiatives for efficient fixed asset and accounts payable management. • Provide guidance and training to junior team members as needed. Qualifications and Skills: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred. • Minimum of 10 years of experience in fixed assets accounting and accounts payable roles. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) related to fixed assets and payables. • Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft) and Microsoft Excel. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. • Experience with audits and internal controls related to fixed assets and accounts payable.
